In May 2020, the Railway Association of Canada (RAC) announced the election of Fiona Murray as Chairperson of its Board of Directors.

Topic: Collaboration And Cooperation During A Pandemic - Keeping The Supply Chain Moving

Like many industries in supply chain, rail has always been considered a ‘mans’ job. That is changing, and fast. Increasingly, women are not just in rail, but they are in senior roles. They are not just working in rail but creating change and advancement in all sectors.

Our September Dinner by Demand will have two such people. Corrie Banks, Director of Supply Chain for Cando Rail Services, and Fionna Murray, Vice-President, Public and Government Affairs, will be our presenters.

Corrie has been in rail at different times throughout her career. She has held other supply chain roles and been an entrepreneur as well. Join us to hear how Corrie has navigated her career, been a mother of twins and still created an impact on her current industry.

Fiona Murray has been with CN since 1992 and has held many senior positions at CN. Her passion and commitment to Rail and the women in the industry has been recognized Nationally. Though her commitment is to everyone at CN and their partners, she recognizes the need to encourage and grow those who would not consider Rail as a career.

Make sure to join us as we hear these women’s stories.
