Our Triumphs from 2021 and how they will make 2021 more successful, how they defined our careers and the industry, how we must cheer on women in all their successes.
We want to address how women and marginalized communities, especially due to COVID-19, face unreasonable barriers and obstacles – how many leaders have taken steps and created initiatives that push to over come these challenges and how we must all work together to encourage and support our peers for success in Supply Chain and for Supply Chain.
Introduce WISC Association supporters who have made an impact, how they can share their story to encourage others, what needs to change, what is being done, and what still needs to be done.
Tuesday Tech is a mid-day –lunch hour – event hosted once per quarter on the second Tuesday of the month. These are short presentations around new technology, embracing technology, future of technology – focusing on what is being discussed in supply chain – followed by discussion.

Farnoush is the co-founder and CEO of Intelius AI. Farnoush resourced a start-up team of exceptional talents and acquired large scale consulting contacts in data and optimization science.
Farnoush has demonstrated a rich history of leading and delivering large scale AI projects at Air Canada and Enbridge, leveraging her background in advanced analytics and operations research.
With strengths in AI optimization, statistical analysis, simulation, and prediction combined with her Doctorate of Philology (Ph.D.) in Industrial Engineering, Farnoush has successfully solved complex business problems under many restraints and could confidently apply her experience to many other facets of the business.
The word of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has been extensively used in the last few years and is a buzzword that many industries use these days. But, what is AI? And, how can technology help you in the supply chain? In this session, we will describe how businesses should utilize AI and what is involved in the start and implementation of AI.
We will explain what you need to build customized AI products to fit your business needs and use cases. A design thinking approach in product development is at the core, focusing on how we Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Test.
We will wrap up the session with how AI can be leveraged in the supply chain.

We are excited that our focus and commitment resonates this year with the UN Women theme for International Women’s Day, 8 March 2021 (#IWD2021) of: “Women in leadership: Achieving an equal future in a COVID-19 world.”
